Wild Joe’s coffee, on Main Street in Bozeman, was a lifesaver. I really like that place a lot. Erika Lesser of Slow Food USA gave a great presentation. Not by nature much of a joiner, I would join Slow Food USA! Check ‘em out. Sarah Calhoun of Red Ants Pants was like an instant friend to me, and she makes a great product: workwear for women. I learned a little about Democracy In Action and the valuable work they’re doing. Other than that, I was pretty blown away by Eve Ensler, and even more so by Winona LaDuke, both of whom gave talks at the National conference in San Rafael, CA. Thanks to everyone who bought a book. See you next year, I hope. (In Missoula, perhaps?)

For the fourth year in a row, S&Co. will haul books to Bozeman and set up our traveling bookstore for the annual Northern Rockies Bioneers Conference, Oct 19th-21st. See the link to the national event here. Bioneers is always inspiring and informative, and the meals and entertainment are always first rate! Well worth the trip.
