And lastly…I’m with Garth on this one: Angelina Jolie would’ve been way more qualified.

Well, I only jokingly suggested putting Jolie on Obama’s ticket first because she could be sent to deal with jackasses like Robert Mugabe. Then after Palin was added to McCain’s ticket I joked that Jolie is more bad-ass than Biden and could destroy Palin. Battle of the Alpha Women. Something like that. But I never meant to suggest that anyone is more qualified than Joe Biden, or that Angelina Jolie is anything more than someone possessed of inordinate power, popularly, mass-culturally, superficially. And otherwise. She’s got to be right up there with the most powerful women on the planet. Why not harness her? Shall I rephrase? Can I start over?

Oh, I know. I was just trying to be witty I suppose, though somewhat misdirected. The comment was not meant to diminish confidence in Biden. I’m thinking now, though, that perhaps we should have Jolie be the moderator for one of the pres. debates, so she can keep ‘em all in line.
