Shakespeare and Co. Booksellers

Started in 1998, Shakespeare & Co. sells new books, postcards, notecards, blank journals, and magazines. One side of the shop is dedicated mostly to fiction, the other, two doors down, mostly to nonfiction.

Our name, of course, harkens back to Paris. It was suggested (to us) by Tom Moylan, who lived in Missoula and was a good man and a good friend. Although we share this name (it is not trademarked) with various incarnations of Shakespeare & Co. the world over (Paris, New York, Berkeley), we are not part of a chain.
